Derek Venturi, a kind brother to most of his
siblings, and a rival to Casey. Derek considers himself as an alpha male. When
his dad married Casey's mom, Derek was not so keen in letting do whatever they
want; often being unfair. Though most of the time it is directed towards Casey.
However, despite this somewhat tough exterior he does have a heart.
Often, in the whole series he would be found
making out with a bunch of girls. A few times, when he's actually serious of gettingthe girl, he
will do anything to win them over. Usually this includes changing his
personality and behavior to suit theirs.

Casey
McDonald
Casey McDonald, a neatfreak, nerd,
dancer, and singer of the Venturi-McDonald household. Casey often
likes to confront Derek, of his unfair rules. She often likes to interrogate
him, though usually this does not work.
Casey wants perfection.
This includes her relationships and grades. Because of this she often breaks up
with her boyfriends.
Casey is very close to
Lizzie and Derek, despite their fights. She likes to act like a role model and
cares about her family, even Derek.

Why
1. Dynamic Duo
Though usually they are different as day and
night, often times if need be, the two will be forced to work together,
creating results that could not be achieved without the other's help. One
example of this is when Derek was forced to ask Casey to join his band. Of
course Casey reluctantly agreed, but in the end it was worth it. The crowd
absolutely loved them.

They
Actually Care
Deep down, beneath all that hatred facade, the two of them
really do care. Like for example the time when Derek told Casey about the coach
who is merely a player. Or how about the time when Casey eventually told the
truth about Kendra, after feeling guilty. Now you know they actually care.

Opposites Attract
They are like the two opposite poles of a
magnet: Derek, the rebel and Casey, the perfectionist. Surely you would know
what would happen in the end, right?
